What do we have?

First of all, it is experience in e-commerce. The first online store was written back in 1999, and in 2002 we achieved a confident result and registered a legal entity. Since then, our path is to constantly improve the Melbis Shop product.

What is Melbis Shop?

It is a unique software product for creating online stores. Its exclusive feature is a special windows application, which significantly increases the productivity of store employees. At the moment, we have created the sixth generation of the program, which has been successfully tested on the e-commerce market for the last five years.

What trends are we seeing?

At one time more than 100 online stores were created on Melbis Shop v5! This was the initial stage of the e-commerce market formation. The next stage we are seeing now is increased competition and business consolidation. Thus, many small projects are leaving the market unable to withstand the competition, and those that remain are transforming into industry leaders.

We can state the fact that the maintenance and support of your own online store is becoming more and more technically complex and expensive. In turn, the most successful online stores seek to maximize their product range, gradually transforming into a new entity, now known to us as a marketplace.

What do we envision for the future?

On the one hand, a marketplace is an effective mechanism of providing IT capacities of a large company for non-specialist entrepreneurs, making the way of goods from the manufacturer to the buyer cheaper. But, on the other hand, this approach creates a monopoly and reduces the quality of choice. Consequently, the buyer wastes some of his money. Nature does not like emptiness.

We assume that the way of creating not just global marketplaces, but competing industry-specific marketplaces will be more promising and balanced for the market. In this case, it will take a software that allows the marketplace paradigm, but not for large internet companies.

What have we done?

We got Melbis Shop v6. This version is specifically different from the "engine for an online store" concept. We have created a multi-user and technological constructor of sites and business processes, of course, with a bias towards e-commerce. This product is not for a beginner who decided to make his first steps in this field, this product is for established Internet entrepreneurs who want to take their online business to a new qualitative level. Yes, there are. We can see this transformation with our own eyes: weak stores leaving and strong projects enlarging with the transition to the new version of Melbis Shop v6. The cooperation of our companies allowed us to better understand the needs of e-commerce market participants. The AstroScope project is not just an online storefront, it is a new business structure that we expect to see more and more often in the future.

It contains the following elements:

• A classic storefront site
  Typical online store selection and checkout process with a personalized section for customers.
• Supplier section
  An additional web section for suppliers to interact with products and orders. Similar marketplace principle, but much less demanding for the supplier.
• Consulting and marketing department
  Professionals who create product descriptions and storefront, advise and help with quality product selection. Additionally, engaged in marketing activities, covering their hobbies in the mass media.
• Logistics department
  Employees performing:
• loading suppliers' price lists into the system;
• controlling the process of order fulfillment;
• forming purchases or transferring orders to suppliers;
• analyzing and accounting of the company's internal warehouse.
• Delivery Coordination Department
  Commodity and monetary control of operations, fulfillment of purchases and deliveries.

What do we want?

We want to find investors and like-minded people who will be in solidarity with our views on the prospects of the e-commerce market. All our way, we tried to create a scalable project and we really hope that we succeeded to some extent.

We believe that our product Melbis Shop v6 is perfect for creating industry or specialized marketplaces as an internal CMS, CRM and ERP-system. That is, you need to make an investment in a proven business model in order to scale it.

It is possible that on the way to today, the technology we use may not be as up-to-date as we would like it to be. However, such is the law of technology: to create a quality product requires the resource of time, which takes its toll.

But, thanks to breakthroughs in AI, there is a clear prospect that porting program code to modern platforms will be much easier. Therefore, we are optimistic about the future and ask you to realize that the main object of investment is the ideas, structures and methods that we have found and implemented.
