Connection and installation

Download the current version of the Melbis Shop client part (it will be the first in the list) and install it. Launch the application. In the connection parameters, specify: the domain name of your site (or IP address), login admin and the default password is also admin .

Go to the store menu: Design - Installation . Check the settings, including the database connection (click the Check button). Change them if necessary. Check the other store localization parameters, such as Source data (language) and Character set . Click the Install button to create store data tables.

Now try opening the site in your browser. You should see the welcome page of the demo store. Please note that the store does not require a license now and you can work with it in this mode when any user has access to it.

To exit demo mode for testing, do not forget to delete the special key file admin.here :

 # rm www/admin.here

Please note that after deleting the admin.here file, the store goes into working mode and each user will be identified, so you will need to purchase the appropriate licenses for each of them. You can do this on our website in the Account section.
