The “Settings” section (the “Structure” tab) provides access to custom settings of the store: key variables that a developer creates individually for a specific store.
On the left is the “Settings Catalog” (tree-structured), on the right are “Settings and Their Values” (Name, Value) and “Description”. Here you or your employees change specific key parameters of the store. Access rights to settings can be configured precisely — so that a specific option can only be changed by a particular employee.
The settings themselves are created by the developer in the “Design” section → “Settings Registry” → “Custom Settings” (see “Settings Registry”).
