The “Location” section is for moving products between sections of the store catalog. The same can be done in the “Prices” section, but not in “Descriptions”: this allows giving content managers (e.g., freelancers) access to arranging products across sections without exposing commercial or descriptive fields.
The window is structured like a product section: on the left — “Store Catalog”, on the right — “Products”. Loading products, catalog and display modes, local filter, built-in web module, moving and copying, saving order — these are common mechanics described in “Basic Operating Principles”.
The operations available here are specifically layout operations:
transferring and copying products between sections (drag and drop; with
Ctrl — copying), removing a product from a section, sorting
(“Save Order”), and quick editing of the section tree
on the left. Commercial and descriptive fields of the product are not
edited in this section.
